The Implementation Project and the National Congress of American Indians will be co-hosting a side event at the 19th Session of the UN Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP). “Realizing the WIPO Treaty on Intellectual Property, Genetic Resources & Associated Traditional Knowledge” will take place on Thursday, July 16 from 10:00 to 11:00AM (CEST), in Conference Room VII at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

Join global Indigenous leaders to explore the treaty’s significance for Indigenous Peoples, its potential to inspire future international frameworks and practical strategies for its implementation. Esteemed speakers include:
